'50 bEST MANAGED GLOBAL OUTSOURCING VENDORS'
SCOTTSDALE AZ, July 17, 2006 – eTelecare Global Solutions is one of the 50 Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors according to The Black Book of Outsourcing and BusinessWeek . eGS was selected from almost 900 firms to be part of the list, which is based on balloting from more than 15,000 clients, contractors and employees of outsourcers world-wide. The complete list will be published in BusinessWeek in late July.
Ranking leadership in global outsourcing vendors by objective standards was the goal of the list's creators, according to Scott Wilson, co-author of The Black Book of Outsourcing . “We sought the best set of benchmarks from top university business schools as appropriate indicators of managerial excellence.”
The list's objective basis differentiates it from advertising directories and pay-to-play awards, according to Ken Singer, professor of business and ethics at the University of California. “The Black Book of Outsourcing's Best Managed Vendors list is reliable for it has quantifiable and qualifiable managerial characteristics that provide a valid and useful ranking of vendors. It will emerge as the authoritative go-to list for outsourcing buyers because of its integrity and genuine outcomes.”
The list combines more than 12,000 votes from outsourcing clients and 3,000 outsourcing staff surveys. The methodology behind the rankings, and the complete results, will be published in an upcoming issue of BusinessWeek , as part of its ongoing series on the ‘Future of Outsourcing'.
