ETELECARE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS CITED IN BUSINESS WEEK AS A TOP TEN OFFSHORE OUTSOURCER

Monrovia, CA – January 31, 2006 – The January 30th Business Week cover story, “The Future of Outsourcing,” lists eTelecare Global Solutions as one of the leading companies in the offshore market. In the sidebar titled “Hot Players in the Offshore Outsourcing World,” consulting company Gartner Inc. ranked eTelecare seventh on their list of companies their clients ask about most.

The article describes new approaches to outsourcing, focusing on two ideas that eTelecare has frequently advanced. The first is that corporations should devote their efforts to their core competencies and outsource other processes. The second idea is that the lower costs and improved service that come with outsourcing helps companies grow and leads to more high-quality jobs in the US. The article provides examples of successful outsourcing projects in the financial, manufacturing, shipping and pharmaceutical industries.

“As the outsourcing trend continues, we're glad to be recognized as a leader,” says eTelecare co-President Derek Holley. “We're also glad that Business Week went beyond the cost-cutting aspects of outsourcing to the opportunities it presents for improved quality and growth.”

A follow-up article, “Five Offshore Practices That Pay Off”, also reinforces eTelecare's approach to client partnerships. The practices, which include carefully selecting an outsourcing partner, investing time and management resources, and working as equals, have been part of eTelecare's model from the beginning.

“The practices listed in the article are only the start,” says Holley. “True outsourcing success is built on a number of factors, including management expertise, growth potential and a focus on continuous improvement. But I believe that both articles validate our approach of investing to outperform and consistently providing significant client value.”
