eTelecare International Wins Best of Show at ICCM 2001
MONROVIA, CA, August 2, 2001 - eTelecare International won the Best of Show Award for Best Hosted Service on August 2 at the 13th Annual International Call Center Management Conference & Exposition, in Chicago. Advanstar Communications and Customer Interface Magazine presented the award, which covers both call center outsourcers and application service providers.
The awards were judged on-site by an independent panel of call center and CRM industry experts. The judges selected eTelecare's entry from a list that included Customer Contact Center, Globalstride, RMH Teleservices, Telerx, and Willow CSN.
“It's a wonderful feeling to win our first major award,” said eTelecare President Derek Holley, who accepted the award. “I'm glad the judges recognized the importance eTelecare places on quality approaches to people, technology and management techniques.”
eTelecare's global business model takes the management experience of the United States and leverages it against the cost and quality advantages of the Philippines to provide a superior call center experience at a lower price. Some of eTelecare's key advantages include: hiring 100% college graduates, providing 4 weeks of in-depth training on core skills, maintaining 1 supervisor for every 8 associates, and providing the latest eCRM technology. The result, according to eTelecare's clients, is substantially higher quality than US outsourcers and savings of up to 20% compared to U.S.-based outsourcers. In addition, eTelecare surveys more than 20,000 callers each month and 98% describe themselves as “satisfied”, with 70% saying they are “very satisfied”.
The International Call Center Management Conference & Exposition is the largest call center event in the world. It is produced annually by Advanstar Communications. The 2001 conference ran from July 31 – August 2, 2001, at McCormick Place, in Chicago.
Founded in 1999, eTelecare International provides customer contact center operations for leading financial, computer and telecommunications firms. eTelecare hires only graduates of the top universities in the Philippines, and makes extensive investments in technology, training and quality processes.
