John Harris

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Harris brings to eTelecare Global Solutions more than 30 years of experience in the outsourced business services and information technology industry, with responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, business operations and mergers/acquisitions, as well as extensive international experience in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  Mr. Harris spent 25 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS).  As a Group Vice President and Corporate officer, he was responsible for leading EDS's Communications Industry business units that served the wireline, wireless, entertainment and publishing markets.  Under Mr. Harris' leadership, the business grew from $65 million to approximately $1 billion with 5,000 employees in 22 countries providing outsourcing, system integration, process management, consulting and call center services.   The call center side operations generated more than $100 million in revenue with 2,000 staff.

Since EDS, Mr. Harris has been CEO of several private equity backed technology service companies.  His primary focus has been on developing new growth strategies and repositioning the companies to better serve their target markets.  Mr. Harris most recently was CEO of Seven Worldwide, a $400 million business process outsourcing company.

Mr. Harris graduated from West Georgia University with a BBA and MBA.  He has held board positions with a number of public and private telecommunications, broadcast and technology services companies.
